Most review and rating sites are paid for by the businesses they rate. Apples to Apples is paid for by homeowners, so the only people we answer to are you.

No contractor money

We accept no payments, ads, sponsorships or donations from contractors or their suppliers. Any we find are refunded.

Rules, not relationships

Reviews come down only when they break a published rule. A contractor disliking a review is never enough.

Your data stays yours

We never sell or share your bids, documents or contact details.

Who runs this site

[FOUNDER DISCLOSURE: who runs Apples to Apples and any ties to contractors.] Reviews of any contractor connected to the founder are verified and handled by someone else, and the founder can’t reply to or dispute them.
